    Brig. Gen. res. dr. Eng. Prof. WSIZ Tomasz BĄK – PhD in Security Sciences.
    He began his military service in 1985 as a cadet at the Higher School of Officers of the Mechanized Forces in Wroclaw.
    After graduating from it in 1989, he served in a number of command and staff positions commanding, among others, the elite 18th Airborne Battalion in Bielsko-Biala, the Training Center for Peacekeeping Forces in Kielce, the 12th Mechanized Brigade in Szczecin and the 21st Highland Rifle Brigade.
    From 1995 to 1997, he was a student at the National Defense Academy in Warsaw, from which he graduated as the top student.
    15 August 2007 appointed by the President of the Republic of Poland to the rank of brigadier general.
    January 31, 2010 ended his professional military service.
    He currently serves as President of the Institute of Risk Analysis Sp z o. o. and is a lecturer at the University of Information Technology and Management in RzeszowBrigadier General Tomasz BĄK is fluent in English and Russian.

    He participated in many peacekeeping missions:
    – 1993-1995 UNDOF in the Golan Heights (company commander),
    – 1999-2000 KFOR in Kosovo (deputy commander and then commander of PKW),
    – 2002-2003 SFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina (chief of staff of the Nordic-Polish Combat Group-commander of PKW and then head of the special operations division of the SFOR KG),
    – 2004 in Iraq (2nd shift-head of the division’s training division),
    – 2005 in Iraq (5th shift-deputy brigade commander).
    and many international exercises at home and abroad.

    For his participation in the peacekeeping operation in Kosovo, he was awarded the Golden Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland and, in 2007, the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. He was also decorated with, among other awards, the Star of Iraq

    Prof. Ph. Robert Socha – professor in the field of social sciences in the discipline of security sciences, research and teaching staff at the WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza. A graduate of the Police Academy in Szczytno, the University of Wroclaw and the Academy of Military Arts. Retired Police Officer. During his service in the Police Department, as an officer of the compact units, he implemented, among other things. tasks related to ensuring the security of mass events Currently professionally associated with Military Aviation Works No. 1 in Lodz, where as a member of the board he is responsible for research and development. In addition, he is the editor-in-chief of the semiannual scientific journal Security Forum and the head of the doctoral seminar in the security science discipline at the WSB Academy.

    Author and co-author of more than two hundred scientific studies published in Poland and more than a dozen other countries on: policing, security of mass events, local security, crisis management and organization of public administration activities during emergencies. He has participated in research internships at foreign scientific institutions, including. at the University of Applied Sciences in Velika Gorica, the Technical University of Ostrava, and the Lviv State University of Life in Lviv.

    For his activities in the field of security, science and didactics, as well as the popularization of research results, he has been repeatedly awarded state and departmental decorations, as well as awards from local government and local government bodies, and university authorities. In addition, in 2012. awarded by the Minister of Internal Affairs for professional performance of tasks for the protection of the Police Command Center during the UEFA EURO 2012 European Football Championship Final Tournament.

    President of the Board of the Polish Volleyball Association

    Sebastian Świderski, former receptionist of the Polish national team, who played 322 matches in it, winner of the silver medal of the 2006 World Championships and participant in two editions of the Olympic Games (Athens 2004, Beijing 2008). He reached the Polish championship three times with Mostostal Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and was also successful in the Italian league, representing clubs from Perugia and Macerata.

    Sebastian Swiderski is distinguished by his professionalism and commitment, which have resulted in numerous sports and business achievements, both at the club and national level. He has extensive experience as a coach and sports director, as well as an effective manager. In the years prior to becoming President of PZPS, he successfully managed Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle, leading the club to win, among other things, the Polish championship title and triumph in the Champions League in 2021.

    He has headed the Polish Volleyball Federation since 2021, and is currently serving his second term for 2025-2029. His activities are focused on the long-term development of volleyball in Poland, with a focus on building a modern training system, innovative technological solutions and strengthening the country’s position as a host of prestigious volleyball events, which are held with the support of the best fans in the world.

    Expert in safety and security of mass events

    Witold Fryc – an expert in the field of security and safety of mass events, has been involved in the event and sports industry for more than 20 years.

    He began his career in 2004 as a business manager. security at the GKS Katowice soccer club where he was responsible for organizing and supervising the security of soccer matches.

    From 2009 to 2022, he worked at FOSA, serving as the company’s head of business affairs. security for hundreds of mass events of varying scale – from events for a few thousand participants to concerts and events gathering more than 100,000 people.

    Since 2022, he has served as head of security at Live Nation, where he is responsible for comprehensive security for events held not only in Poland, but also in Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Greece and Bulgaria.

    He has numerous professional qualifications, including:

    – authorization of the manager of security. safety
    – certified as a steward trainer by the Polish Football Association

    CEO of MMA POLSKA and co-owner of KSW

    Martin Lewandowski is a Polish entrepreneur and martial arts enthusiast who has been transforming the face of MMA in Poland and Europe for years. He is a graduate of the University of Economics in Wrocław and Sydney Windsor Institute of Commerce.

    He is co-owner of KSW, the largest MMA federation in Europe. For over 21 years, he has successfully developed the brand and organized major sporting events not only in Poland but also abroad. Under his leadership, KSW has grown from a local initiative in the “Champions” restaurant (at the Marriott Hotel) into an organization with European and global reach. To date, over 115 KSW events have been organized, including an event at the National Stadium, which was one of the largest sporting events in Poland, the biggest event in European MMA history, and the second-largest event in mixed martial arts history worldwide. The stadium stands were filled by nearly 58,000 fans.

    Martin Lewandowski’s experience in organizing sporting events also includes the United Kingdom, Ireland, Croatia, Czech Republic, and France. Throughout his years of market activity, he has developed the highest safety standards for mass event production.

    In 2019, he was the initiator and one of the founders of the MMA Poland Association, also serving as its president. This represents a milestone in the structure of amateur MMA in Poland. Through his initiative, the largest amateur tournaments in Europe were created, and Poland became a model for other countries in building national MMA structures. He appoints the Polish National Team for international events and strives to establish the Polish MMA Federation. MMA Poland is the only Polish organization that has been recognized by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). It is also a member of the Polish Olympic Committee.

    Lewandowski combines professional sport with amateur sport, business with social mission. His goal is for martial arts to become a development tool for the young generation: through training, education, care, and career support.

  • Michał Krzysztofik

    prof. Ph. Michał Krzysztofik is a researcher and practitioner specializing in sports training optimization, with particular emphasis on muscular strength training. He led an international project conducted at Charles University in Prague and research projects funded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, implemented in cooperation with the Polish Athletics Association (PZLA), Polish Ski Association (PZN), and Polish Handball Association (ZPRP). Author and co-author of over 140 publications from the JCR list (H-index: 28), he serves as Vice-Rector for Science and head of the Muscular Strength and Power Laboratory at the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice.

    Tomasz Goleniowski – pyrotechnician and security expert in the Government Protection Bureau. Performed duties related to the protection of persons under the statutory protection of the BOR, both in Poland and abroad, including in the war zone (Iraq, Baghdad). Veteran of operations outside the country.

    Radosław Mysłek – a cultural studies specialist and mass event security expert, an expert in mass event security and crisis management – Protektom.

    Over 25 years of experience in event production and security management. For 15 years, he was associated with the WOŚP Foundation, serving as a long-time production and security manager for Przystanek Woodstock / Pol’and’Rock Festival. He co-created security measures for the largest festivals, concerts, and sporting events in Poland, including EURO 2012.

    Currently, he is responsible for the production and security of the largest street races organized by the Warsaw Marathon Foundation. He is a speaker at national and international conferences and a practitioner in crisis management.

    Topic: Behavioral and linguistic tools for incident prevention at stadiums and concerts

    International consultant and trainer. She runs the Institute of Nonverbal Communication in Austria and the Behavioral Analysis Center in Poland.

    As a strategic advisor and behavioral analysis trainer, she has worked for the European Coast Guard Agency in Poland (FRONTEX), the International Organization for Migration in the Balkans (IOM), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Iraq (UNODC), and the UN Counter-Terrorism Office in Qatar (UNOTC). In collaboration with the European agency, she developed and conducted specialized training programs for service representatives in the field of predictive profiling. She is also co-author of training programs for recognizing dangerous behaviors at airports and border crossings. In 2023, she conducted classes as part of the first UN Behavioral Sciences Academy for government representatives from around the world, organized in Qatar.
    She specializes in implementing behavioral sciences to improve security, standardizing behavioral analysis, applications of forensic linguistics in the justice system, and expert assessments in the field of witness testimony credibility evaluation.

    Topic: Security and Crowd Management: Modeling as a Tool for Control, Simulation and Tactical Preparation

    Stepan Klen – A long-serving officer and coordinator of the negotiation team in the Special Police Unit of the Czech Republic in Ostrava. For two decades, he served on the front line as a police negotiator, crisis intervener, and special unit medic.
    A certified expert in crisis negotiations. He is a graduate of specialized courses conducted by FBI instructors from Quantico and the URN anti-terrorist unit. He also has experience in the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, where he held positions in pre-trial detention centers.

    He possesses extensive operational experience in high-risk situations. He was directly involved in the management and intervention during an active shooter attack (AMOK) at the University Hospital in Ostrava (2019), including the evacuation of civilians. He has repeatedly participated in securing international mass events, such as NATO Days, the Ice Hockey World Championships, and Love Parade in Berlin, as well as in rescue operations during natural disasters.

    Creator of systemic security solutions. He developed a negotiation system for the Czech Prison Service (riots/mutinies) and co-created the Anti-Conflict Teams project in Central Europe. He is also the author of an aggression de-escalation program in healthcare, implemented by the National Centre for Nursing (NCONZO Brno).

    An active academic lecturer and instructor. He has trained over 8,000 people – teachers, healthcare workers, officials, and officers – in managing emotionally difficult and risky situations.

Since 2021, he has been an expert of the Polish Toxicological Society (KRT/ERT 1/2021). Additionally, he serves as: Deputy Regional Ombudsman for Professional Responsibility at the Silesian Medical Chamber in Katowice, expert of the Team for Benefits from the Compensation Fund for Medical Events under the Patient Rights Ombudsman, lecturer at the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, and certified suicidologist of the Polish Suicidological Society. Author of approximately 100 publications on mass events and recommendations regarding the safe organization of mass artistic-entertainment events or non-mass events of an artistic or entertainment nature, organized by higher education institutions or student governments or scientific circles or other student organizations.

    Author of numerous publications in Polish and English published in, among others, Rzeczpospolita, Gazeta Prawna, The Warsaw Voice, Edukacja Prawnicza, Przegląd Sądowy, Monthly Lawyer, and The Global Legal Post. In 2012, he was co-author of an international report – Doing Business Report published by the World Bank Group.

    Dariusz Dymiński – an advisor to one of the global leaders in the safety and security market. Safety and security manager, responsible for security operations at one of the top clubs in the Polish Ekstraklasa.
    Previously, he spent 30 years with the Police, where from 2010 he organized and managed security for all major events, including sports events, such as: UN COPs (COP – 19 Warsaw 2013, COP – 24 Katowice 2018), NATO Summit Warsaw 2016, World and European Volleyball and Handball Championships in Poland (2014, 2016), World Youth Day 2016, and World and European Football Championships (UEFA EURO 2012, UEFA U – 21 2017, FIFA U – 20 2019).

    From 2022 to 2023, he was a member of the organizing committee for the European Games Kraków Małopolska 2023 – Director of the Security Division; 29 sports disciplines/25 venues/4 provinces/13 cities.

    Since 2013, he has been a member of the Security Committee for Football Facilities at the Polish Football Association. Since 2018, he has served as a delegate for the Polish Football Association at the central level – Ekstraklasa, I/II/III league.
    He co-authored the Act on the Safety of Mass Events and its implementing acts, as well as numerous internal Police management regulations.

    For many years, he was an associate lecturer at the Police Academy in Szczytno – conducting vocational training, postgraduate studies, and specialized training for Police management staff.

    He prepared and participated in international projects aimed at enhancing the competencies of public order services (Lithuania) and national projects (cooperation with the Command Faculty of the Naval Academy).

    MBA in Cybersecurity Management at the Military University of Technology. Graduate of doctoral studies at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice in the discipline of Technical Informatics and Telecommunications – doctoral dissertation: Implementation of synchronization algorithms for SDN (Software Defined Network) devices – obtained the title of Doctor of Engineering in the discipline of Technical Informatics and Telecommunications. Graduate of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, completed two fields of study: Automation and Robotics, where he obtained the title of Engineer in the specialization of controllers and control systems, and then Computer Science in the specialization of databases, networks and computer systems, where he obtained the title of Master of Engineering with a very good result. His scientific interests include: SDN programmable computer networks, cybersecurity, and computer systems. He is an expert in computer networks and cybersecurity, serving as Deputy Director of the Cybersecurity Center, Rector’s Plenipotentiary for Cybersecurity, and CISO of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. He holds the “Cybersecurity Management – Manager” certificate issued by PTI. He is a lecturer at universities including the Silesian University of Technology, PJATK Academy, and WSB Academy.

    He conducts classes in MBA programs and postgraduate CYBER SCIENCE studies at the Silesian Center for Law Engineering, Technology and Digital Competences. Due to his education, he is an expert in IT and OT systems. He is an NCBiR expert in the discipline of Computer Science and a member of PTI (Polish Information Processing Society). He is a member of ISSA Poland. He is a lead auditor for ISO 27001 security management systems and ISO 22301 business continuity management systems. He holds PRINCE2, ITIL, AgilePM management certificates and is a CISCO CCNA Instructor. He is the author of publications in the field of cybersecurity and computer networks. He actively builds and implements SOC solutions in the context of changes and requirements of the NCSA Act and NIS-2.

    Topic: Practical Aspects of Organizing Medical Security for Mass Events

    Witold Roczniok, MD med. – a graduate of the Medical University of Silesia (1998) and crisis management studies at the Lower Silesian University of Public Services (currently the University of Wrocław).

    For over 25 years, he has been involved with the medical rescue system and working in emergency medical services. He currently works in the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Interior and Administration Hospital in Katowice and collaborates with FTS Eskulap in Zabrze.

    He possesses extensive experience in organizing and implementing medical security for national and international mass events, including the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament, Tauron Speedway Championships, athletic events at Silesian Stadium, Ekstraklasa matches, and large outdoor and television events (TVP, Polsat). He also provided security for sports events and concerts at Spodek in Katowice.

    He participated in rescue operations during mass incidents, including the Katowice hall collapse and the train collision in Szamotuły. He served as an air escort physician.

    He is an organizer and judge of the International Polish Medical Rescue Championships and a collaborator with the Institute of Medical Rescue in Krakow.

    Paul is a recognized voice in the protective security community, known for combining experience gained from leading frontline policing operations, government-level advisory work, and over two decades of practice in complex security consulting. This enables him to present a perspective that resonates with practitioners across the sector. His 32-year service with Cheshire Constabulary led him to the rank of Chief Inspector. He served as Deputy Divisional Commander, Head of Crime Prevention, and Director of Studies at the Home Office National Crime Prevention College, where he co-developed the national approach to crime reduction and situational security.

    After transitioning to the private sector, Paul became one of the key figures at Trio Solutions Group Ltd, leading major risk audit programs, protective security design, and the creation of a fully accredited, 24/7/365 National Operations Centre responsible for monitoring, intelligence analysis, and crisis incident management. His consulting work encompasses high-traffic retail facilities, public sector organizations, critical infrastructure enterprises, transport hubs, the pharmaceutical industry, large manufacturing plants, as well as major recreational and event venues. He is widely recognized as a specialist in shopping center security and has also served as an internal security consultant to the UK government on high-sensitivity and priority matters.

    Currently, Paul is one of the leading practitioners engaged in the practical implementation of Martyn’s Law (Protect Duty). He advises the UK’s largest venues, including Odyssey Trust (SSE Arena Belfast) and local authorities. He has also been engaged by the owners of Manchester Arena, the site of the 2017 attack, to support the integration of Protect Duty requirements as part of a new investment being implemented at the arena complex. His work combines operational realities, regulatory requirements, and the evolving threat landscape, offering audiences a practical, experience-based perspective on what effective protection requires.

For over a dozen years he has been associated with the WOŚP Foundation as coordinator of spatial data and GIS systems during the Pol’and’Rock Festival (formerly Przystanek Woodstock), the WOŚP Grand Finale and other initiatives carried out by the Foundation. He creates spatial information systems.

    Topic: Smart evacuation: crowd simulations based on data and agent-based models

    Jarosław Wąs, Professor, PhD, Eng., is a computer scientist and engineer. He is a research and teaching employee at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at AGH University, and since 2020 has headed the Department of Applied Computer Science.

    His research interests include the development of intelligent IT systems for engineering applications. He works on agent systems, artificial intelligence, and modelling and simulation of complex systems, including crowd dynamics and evacuation. He is a co-creator of IT tools and crowd evacuation analyses for sports and public facilities, including Allianz Arena in Munich, delivered as part of an international project.

    Andrzej Machowski is a retired Police sub-inspector, creator of the corporate detective concept, risk manager and owner of Biuro Bezpieczeństwa Andrzej Machowski (www.bbm24.pl).

    His professional interests focus mainly on education in the security and detective sectors in Poland, promoting a culture of safety and strengthening public awareness of contemporary threats. He has trained hundreds of mass-event safety managers, thousands of order and information service members, and several hundred stewards, including members of state services before UEFA EURO 2012.

    He has authored programmes and led training projects under the Human Capital Operational Programme. He is also the author of publications and articles on security, protection and counter-terrorism. He created a postgraduate programme in corporate detective work at WSB Merito University in Chorzów, where he also teaches.

    He is a safety manager, PZPN Steward trainer, certified security specialist and court expert in personal and property protection and safety management. He has handled international and European-level sports events as a safety manager.

    He is a graduate of the Academy of Internal Affairs, the University of Wrocław, the Military University of Technology and the University of Business. He supports the idea of lifelong learning.

    Topic: The concept of using commercial working dogs in securing mass events and events

    He has many years of experience in public safety, gained during 33 years of service in the Police, which culminated in serving as Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Police. During his career he held key management positions, including First Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Police, Provincial Police Commander in Kielce and municipal commander in Katowice, Gliwice and Piekary Śląskie.

    He was responsible for strategic safety management, including the Police budget, ICT and communication systems, investment processes and procurement of equipment, weapons and supplies. He supervised ICT security in the Police. As chief of staff of the Silesian Police, he co-created the mass-event safety system and participated in Police preparations for UEFA EURO 2012.

    He is a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Poznań, the Police Academy in Szczytno and postgraduate studies in management and internal state security, as well as the Higher Defence Course at the National Defence University. He has taken part in specialist international training, including in the United States, in crisis management, leadership and cybersecurity.

    Owner of the STRATPOINT.eu training and consulting company, expert of the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, and trainer in civil protection and crisis management.

    He is an expert in civil protection, crisis response and the organisation of public safety systems, with over 23 years of experience in the State Fire Service and extensive international practice. He currently supports local government units in building civil protection systems through training, exercises and consulting. Since 2017, within the European Commission DG ECHO framework, he has taken part in rescue missions, certification of rescue modules and exercises under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.

    During his service he held key command and staff roles, including Municipal Commander of the State Fire Service in Siemianowice Śląskie and Deputy Municipal Commander in Gliwice, where he supervised activities related to mass-event safety.

    As an expert, he has participated in international missions, activities and exercises, including in Latvia, Turkey, Poland, Greece, Moldova and Lebanon. In 2022 he served as chief of staff to the Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service for the relocation of Ukrainian refugees, responsible for the concept and implementation of one of the largest humanitarian processes in the region.

    He graduated from the Main School of Fire Service in Warsaw in fire safety engineering and completed MBA studies at the Military University of Technology. He is a member of the association of fire engineers and technicians and MENSA Poland.

    From 2003 to 2024 he served as a Police officer. For most of his service he worked in the criminal division, where he planned, prepared and carried out tasks related to combating crime, especially economic and corruption-related crime.

    From 2012 he held managerial positions, and in recent years he served as Police Station Commander, taking care of safety in central Katowice.

    As part of his duties, he coordinated uniformed and civilian services in emergency situations, commanded services during evacuations of railway stations, offices and shopping centres, and during various mass events, strikes and protests.

    Since 2024 he has been associated with the Humanitas Academy in Sosnowiec, where as an academic teacher at the Institute of Security Sciences he teaches subjects related to internal security and combines practical experience with the development of scientific knowledge.

    As an instructor in Civil Protection and Civil Defence, he conducts training for representatives of local government, subordinate institutions and enterprises, and the public. He also uses his service experience to improve safety in the industrial sector while working at the Security Office of Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa.

    He is a graduate of the Upper Silesian Pedagogical College in Mysłowice, the Police Academy in Szczytno and the University of Silesia. As a doctoral student at the Humanitas Academy in Sosnowiec, he researches issues related to hate speech.

    Topic: Train as if you were exercising, exercise as if you were fighting – preparing for crisis situations

    Paweł “Naval” Mateńczuk is a former operator of the GROM Military Unit, a security expert, author and motivational speaker.

    From 1998 to 2012 he served in GROM as a section commander, taking part in counter-terrorist operations and foreign missions, including in Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving service, he has worked as a security adviser for companies and organizations, including PGNiG and Polish Humanitarian Action, and conducts leadership, security and motivational training.

    He is the author of popular military and survival books published under the pseudonym “NAVAL”, and is also known from media appearances including Discovery and Ninja Warrior Polska. He serves as the Representative of the Minister of National Defence for Military Service Conditions.

    He has been awarded the Order of the Military Cross, 2nd and 3rd class, and the gold GROM badge.

    Tomasz Milewski is a graduate of the Police Academy in Szczytno and the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. He completed postgraduate studies in management and managerial skills, as well as postgraduate studies in security and information protection.

    He is a retired officer of the Police and special services. He is a member of the Committee for Safety at Football Facilities and the legislative team of the Polish Football Association. He also serves as a PZPN match delegate.

    Since 2010, he has been involved in matters related to the organization and safety of mass events, including football matches, serving as a safety manager in Ekstraklasa and 1st League football clubs.

    Since 2018, he has served as safety manager and safety representative of Stadion Śląski in Chorzów.

    Topic: Integrated management of IT infrastructure in sports and entertainment venues: from CCTV and WiFi to communication systems and data centers

    A telecommunications systems specialist by education, with over 30 years of experience in their development, maintenance and optimization. Early in his career he was involved in the dynamic development of CATV cable television networks. Since 1998 he worked with Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. and later Orange Polska S.A., where he was responsible for developing SDH fibre-optic transmission systems and ONU FTTH access systems, with a strong focus on centralising supervision centres. As a technical domain expert, he was responsible for the development and maintenance of DSLAM and GPON systems. Since June 2015 he has been associated with Silesian Metropolitan Network, where he is responsible for the development of the municipal broadband network, integration and centralisation of telecommunications and IT services, and the Data Processing Centre. Since February 2023 he has served as Director of the IT Department. He participates in work on IT standardisation for municipal organisational units, the cybersecurity strategy for the City of Gliwice, and the Cyber Shield project for Gliwice. He is also responsible for establishing the SOC team monitoring the company’s and clients’ cyberspace.

Rafał Wróbel is a State Fire Service officer and academic teacher serving at the Fire University in Warsaw, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Safety Engineering and Civil Protection. He has 15 years of teaching experience in risk management, business continuity management, multimedia decision-making training, critical infrastructure protection, civil protection, crisis management and the safety of mass events. He prepares and implements scientific, R&D and investment projects funded from national and international sources. He also serves as a dispatcher and duty officer at the Fire University. He is the author and co-author of evacuation plans for dozens of mass events, including events attended by the presidents of Germany, Italy, the USA, Ukraine and Poland.
